“No Need To Stand And Applaud”
Please, Please…Take your seats!
Yup, that’s right ladies and gentlemen. I have risen out of the nasty stench left behind from our ‘Boys 2007 season exit. Sorry for the long absence. It has taken me seven months to digest the playoff loss and pass it like some bad fish at a cheap sushi bar!
I’m feeling better now!
I’m ready to get pumped up for this upcoming season!!
So I take back what I said!…Everyone get back up outta those seats, pump your fists, raise the roof, and get ready for another Dallas Cowboys Super Bowl Run! Time to ‘Unleash The Beast’! They’re not gonna know what hit ‘em!
Training Camp 2008
Training Camp is just three days away. Players are preparing to leave, reporters are setting up shop, and Oxnard, CA. is on “High Alert” because of a Dallas Cowboys invasion. I’m so happy for the fans in that area to get another chance to witness history. San Antonio was supposed to have us locked up for a few years, but certain circumstance kept that from happening.
So glad for you all!
You have been blessed with not only the opportunity to see the greatest team in the NFL preparing for the upcoming season, but the opportunity to witness history in the making.
The Cowboys are preparing to enter their final season at Texas Stadium and there’s a strong desire to enter this season with Super Bowl hopes. For a lot of people out there its Super Bowl or Bust.
Not mad at ya a bit!
What better way to enter a new home then to have the proper pillar in the foundation. That proper pillar is the soon to be sixth Lombardi trophy. With the talent that we have locked up, there’s no other reason not to think this team will go all the way.
The Cowboys have made some moves, and locked up key guys that can dominate this league for many years to come. The pursuit of perfection and urgency is held so high in the air, it is bound to smack fear into all opposing teams that stand in our way. This is our year… our time.
I’ll be watching Hard Knocks. I’ll be watching for you Oxnard fans to represent with class and embrace the moment. We Are America’s Team!
Hold up some “HI CHUCK” posters for me! Ha Ha
What Are Some Of Your Expectations For Training Camp?
I would like to ask you all to let me know what you would like to see addressed in training camp. Me personally, I would like to see special teams addressed the most.
If Adam Jones gets reinstated, I’m eager to see the return game improve. Having a good return can take the edge off of a two or three score lead early in the 4th quarter with us trailing. I would like to see a long touchdown return and make it easier for the offense to come back in that situation. (hence the Patsies game last year.) I’m sure we will have those games. We always do!
Rest The Vets!
Get the younger guys primed and ready. There’s no reason to push these 6 + year guys to the breaking point. One-a-days are enough for these guys (unless willing), but the main focus needs to be keeping these guys healthy.
It’s a long season, and with the Terry Glenn saga still continuing, backup QB doubts, and a young receiving corps (Minus T.O.), we are only one injury away from worry.
I have faith in the coaching staff and the organization to make the right decisions to get this team ready to get started on the right foot.
I wanna hear from you guys… LOUD AND PROUD!!!!
