With the draft less than two weeks away, I decided to do another mock draft with the current Cowboy’s issue of Miles Austin possibly leaving for the Jets a main focus.
We will have to adjust some contracts to make room for the draft class, Demarcus Ware’s new contract and our new receiver, Tory Holt, who before this mock draft, signs a three year contract.

Hey that Holt jersey looks pretty god, but I dont see it happening. But if it did happen… I like what you project here.
I still feel that even if we were to sign Holt, given his age and the fact that Roy Williams has never had success as a one reciever, I’d still try to take a WR with one of those second round picks.

i hear ya joe. im hoping austin stays and our draft plans can stay course. i recently been researching this deon butler guy though. ive really slacked on the wr crop this year, thinking we wont even bother to look, but if austin goes, everything changes, so now im lookin. the concensus on deon is that he isnt really much different than his teammate, derrick williams, who is a projected 2-3 round pick. id take him in the 5th or 6th if hes still on the board.
