Linebacker Zach Thomas has a new home in Kansas City. Details of the new contract have yet to be released, but it’s likely a 1-year deal.
After 12 years with the Miami Dolphins, Thomas signed a one year deal with the Cowboys in 2008.
Thomas is a 7-time pro bowler has 1,733 career tackles and 20.5 sacks. He is now 35 years old, and while he may not be in his prime he does bring strong leadership to the clubhouse.
He’s a great guy and may he have success wherever he goes.

I hate to see him go. I really liked him.
Hope he does well with The Chiefs
True, I hate to see a guy like Zach Thomas go too, but he was just vastly undersized in a 3-4. We could’ve probably got away with it, but we really need a “true” nose tackle to accomplish that in my opinion.
We wonder why teams had success running up the middle?
undersized ILB, and undersized NT will do that for you.
