41 Starts as a NFL quarterback, 59 touchdown with 46 interceptions. Does this sound like the type of numbers you would want from the starting quarterback of your favorite NFL team? That was the question that everyone had back in 1994 when Brett Favre began his illustrious career in Green Bay. Now he is known as one of the best quarterbacks to ever play the game.
41 Starts as a NFL quarterback, 85 touchdowns with 49 interceptions. Is it just me or do these stats look so much better? Does THIS sound like the stats you want from the starting quarterback of your favorite NFL team? That is what all of us are asking ourselves right now about our Dallas Cowboys. Those are the stats for Tony Romo in his first 41 games as a starter. I am convinced, are you?
With these type of numbers, in such a short time as a starting quarterback in the NFL, to me, it is obvious the quarterback position is NOT the problem with the Dallas Cowboys. Giving up over 300 yards of offense in both of their first 2 games of the season is a very SERIOUS issue. The defense needs to wake up and smell the playoffs.

VERY true! Romo isn’t the true problem. It’s the defense and the inability to make a stop when it has to. It’s the inability to get pressure on the QB, a somewhat questionable secondary and no takeaways. Hopefully we can address all of those issues tonight!

Yes it has been that way for a long time. It seems that every time we need to make a big stop, the defense can’t so it. There have been many times in the last 5 years that we score to go ahead and the defense lets the opposing team come right back down the field to score. It makes me sick when that happens.
