Cowboys Bounce Back to Beat Redskins 7-6

Crazy games aren’t rare for Cowboys/Redskins matchups, but this game’s score seemed more like a baseball game than football.

One of the saddest box scores in the history of football..

Luckily Tony Romo scrambled and found Patrick Crayton in the endzone with 2:41 on the clock.

This was an ugly loss. Thank heaven the defense was strong, holding the Redskins to only two field goals, because with the offense not scoring, this game could have gotten out of control.

The ground game was alive and well accumulating 153 yards, while the passing game was held to 152 yards. Even though Tony Romo won the game, he had horrible day statistically. Romo went 15 for 27, 158 yards, one touchdown and one interception. But in the end all that mattered is that he fought hard in that last drive and put the Cowboys on top.

The Cowboys go on to 7-3 and stay alone in first place in the NFC East.

Look at it this way. We all know the offense can score. They have done it most of the season. Let them get past whatever they are going through and things will turn in our favor again. As much as I hate to admit it the Redskins have a good defense. Just look at where they are ranked. Anyway, we owed the Skins. Remember a few years ago when Dallas had a lead on them late in the 4th 13-0 and the Skins scored two late TDs and won 14-13? I’m really hoping that Romo’s passes we flying high because his hip was hurting. Let’s hope he is all right and that Jenkins is all right. The Raiders are not going to hand us the win this week.

A win is a win, it was ugly but Romo was playing with a bad back, hes a warrior tho you have to admit, people can say what they want to about Romos style but he does move well out of the pocket for the most part and hes a tough person playing with multiples injuries, still keeps going and I applaud him for it. Cowboys wasnt playing there best yesterday thast for sure but they are still the top of the divison and have the heart to make a statement! GO COWBOYS..yea buddy!
