Wide Receivers Get To Work

Miles AustinThe Dallas Cowboys once again played a game where all phases came together, this time against against the Seahawks. It was really nice to see all of the wide receivers get into the action.

Miles Austin scored another touchdown, Roy Williams scored a touchdown on a nice slant route, Patrick Crayton scored on another punt return, Sam Hurd scored a touchdown on nice pass, and although Kevin Ogletree did not score, he did make a nice catch and run for a first down.

I will admit it I have had my doubts about our wide receiver corps, but it seems that they might be coming along and they are doing some good things. It has been nice to see Miles Austin doing so well, he has catches totaling 482 yards. That is the best that a wide receiver has ever done in their first three games.

Romo and Williams have some work to do and even they admit that they have not been on the same page a lot this year.

I am sure Jason Witten is happy we are winning, but not so happy that he is not getting his normal amount of catches.

Its nice to see that the receivers have finally found a way to get open and make some nice catches and runs.

Patrick Crayton has stepped it up in the return game, scoring a touchdown in each of the last two games.

We have the Eagles this weekend and we are tied with them for first place in the division, we need to step it up again and beat them.

I hear all this stuff sbout chemistry, but I really don’t buy into it. Maybe it’s just some QB/WR combos don’t work. All we heard this past off season was how much Romo and Williams worked together and how things are getting better. Now we are at mid season and nothing has changed. They are still not on the same page. Something is very wrong. Not sure what it is. How come someone like Olgetree comes onto the scene and is new to Romo, but they were connecting all preseason and even though he only caught one pass on Sunday, it was a nice one. Don’t really care at this point. Keep getting the ball to Austin, Crayton, Hurd and Olgetree and let RW just block downfield as they are making their way to the end zone.
