Same Team, Different Season

So it’s been almost an hour since the latest embarrassment ended at Cowboys Stadium. In that time I have thought about how inconsistent this team has been the last four years, how I’m going to hear the same things in the post game interviews. The Cowboys are Inconsistent across the board when it comes to offense, defense and special teams. They just don’t seem to be getting over that hump. I won’t get into specifics of the game because I just don’t want to go through what I just watched again. Lets face it, we have watched some good games in the last few years, some good player performances, but as a whole there is something missing with this team.

I’m not a fan of changes during the season, but I think it’s time. If not now then without a doubt after the season. The problems start with coaching. Maybe Wade Phillips has lost this team. Maybe the players are just not buying into his system. There doesn’t seem to be much as far as game adjustments. Same should be said of Jason Garrett who calls some of the most head scratching plays I have ever seen. There is no discipline on this team and no identity. They always seem to be at the top of the list when it comes to penalties. It’s time for a change, now!!!

As a fan I am fed up, annoyed, frustrated, mad, confused and I think something needs to be done. I’m sure all the post game interviews will be the same from the players and the coaches, but when it comes down to it this team is 1-3 and is in last place in the NFC East. I’m tired of the excuses and the stupid clichés week in and week out. Thinks don’t get any easier with a trip to Minnesota next week and then back home against the Giants.

The 2010 season was supposed to be THE season for the Cowboys, but just like 2008 it’s turning into a major disappointment. It all comes down to inconsistent play. That one word describes the Cowboys more then any other word…Inconsistent.

I’m just tired and exhausted as a fan watching these inconsistencies week in and week out and year in and year out. It’s time for a change and that change needs to be now.

I agree with you Rob. It reminds me a lot about my baseball team (wont go there dont worry). Change is near, Im sure of it. Jerry Jones should not wait and its already hard to believe his patience has lasted this long.

We need change but what are the answers? People say cut Buehler but who are you going to sign? Fire Garrett, who takes his place, same with Wade.

If we tear this ship down we will go into rebuilding mode. We won’t be SB material next season, maybe not even the season after that.

Its frustrating to say the least. Im still going to watch every game and believe that they are going to win because thats who I am. Thats the kind of fan I am, everyone is different. But I didnt get too shook up after this loss, because it was disappointing from the start. If they play their hearts out then we lose at the last minute, now thats a heartbreaker. This was just a letdown.

Okay I’m gonna stop now because this is way too long. I think I need to post my own feelings in a blog lol.

Agreed. Losing heartbreaker after playing hard is one thing, but when they play like they did today it gets me mad. I say clean house now because I’m so mad and I know the smart thing is to wait until after the season. Lets face it normally when a head coach is fired they look at the OC, but in this case the OC has to go as well. Buehler fits into the team because he is inconsistant. Makes a long kick and then misses a shorter one. Boys had 133 yards in penalties today. But will anyone get mad and rip into them? Probably not!!! Do I see them beating the Vikings next week? At this point I really don’t.

I would love Cowher. I just don’t think he will go to Dallas. I can see a Billick or a Gruden. I guess we’ll see once the season ends, unless the Boys turn it around and win it all.

Someone should smack them up side their helmets and open their eyes! We should be 4-0! Enough of the shoulda coulda woulda’s! Time for someone to man up and take control of this team that has tons of talent and these coaches don’t know how to handle them. Get rid of Wade he always has a worried look on his face and JG he is just horrible! Period.

They are still “My Boys”, but I am about to give up on this season and just watch them and back them, but give up on EXPECTING to win. I will stick just as I stuck through the 1-15 season. I will cry and wail, cuss and scream, but I will still be there. ONE DAY our BOYS will be back. I will still be there screaming and worshiping. Keep going, Keep trying, ( I do believe each and every one of them is giving it his all.) I just don’t know how to fix it, so I will just watch it and cry, and sometimes laugh and celebrate. I will love each win (no matter how few) and suffer each loss (no matter how many), but they will still be my team.

    Go Boys.
