How come the players and coaches dont know….

  2. BILL

CUTTING WADE PHILLIPS IS NOW THE STUPIDEST THING JERRY JONES HAS EVER DONE… THE WHOLE PROBLEM WITH THE BOYS IS THE OFFENSE..WHICH IS JASON GARRETTS DEPARTMENT…I GUESS THE BOYS ARE IN STILL IN FOR YEARS OF STRUGGLING JUST TO BE A MEDIOCRE TEAM

  3. Rob V.

That is why JJ did this. Fire Wade and promote Garrett and his $3m salary. Then at the end of the season JJ can fire Garrett also and then say he gave Garrett a chance and it did not work out.

I agree with Rob. What’s gonna be crazy is how many well known players are let go in the offseason, because that defense is looking really (and I emphasize), really bad, especially the secondary.

    • Tom

You are exactly right. “Oops, sorry kid. You’re not ready. I need to go into a different direction.”

  4. Rob V.

New coach depending on who it is will want to change some things. I think the following players won’t be back…Brooking, Colombo, Kosier, Roy Williams, Barber, Spears. A lot more things will change with this team and I think we need it. Almost four years and almost no progress. I think it was time.

  5. Tom

This is just a band-aid. I think HE knows he’s not going to be around next year either, unless the O-line miraculously begins to block and open holes, the secondary stops getting gashed, the D-line gets pressure on the QB and the Linebackers cover better.

  6. Joe D.

To all the fans who said Wade wont get fired until the end of the season…. eat my grits! :-p

  7. Who will be defensive coordinator?

    • Mitch

I think they should hire Deion Sanders

  8. Ayre

    Chuck Norris baby!!!!

  9. Mitch

MY TOP 5 REASONS DEION SANDERS SHOULD BE THE DALLAS COWBOYS NEXT HEAD COACH

1.He a former Dallas Cowboy corner who could easily teach anyone of those DB’s they have now to play the position Physical yet smarter

    2. Hes just like Jerry Jones He just doesn’t give a Damn and from the sounds of it he all ready started the Complete team evaluation by saying if he was in charge he would get rid of some of the players in the locker room.

3.He already has a step ahead of every other coach he goes to every NFL COMBINE and therefore already knows what to look for.

    4. He could put together one hell of Coaching staff and could even bring some other Hall of Fame players and could even get some Hall of Fame Coaches to come help him out in bringing the DALLAS COWBOYS BACK TO GLORY.

    5. THIS ONE IS FOR JERRY- YOU DONT HAVE TO GIVE UP CONTROL OF ANY POWER AND YOU GET A COACH WHO WILL WORK AROUND YOUR IDEAS

    • Ayre

Yeah, but who’s gonna teach the players how to dress?

    • Rob V.

      Deion Sanders was physical????

      • Mitch

Yes this is a combo of what Mike Jenkins and watt Dez Bryant could become under the tutelage of Sanders

  10. Koby

    Bring back Jimmy Johnson.
