The Quiet Days of Offseason

A month away from the NFL draft and everything in Cowboys land seems a bit quiet for my taste. No more T.O. drama, no more Romo/Jessica sightings, no more throw Wade under the bus talk. Seems too quiet doesn’t it? First off let me talk about my boy Demarcus Ware. I am still wondering why the Jones boys haven’t signed him to a long extension yet. Ware should become the richest player in NFL history [...]

Mum is the Word

“A Leader is someone who is building a light house while everyone else is building Ships. “    “It is not only what we do, but also what we do not do, for which we are accountable.” Moliere  I can’t remember to this day who said that 1st quote and I apologize for not knowing from the top of my head who said it, but I believe that those 2 simple quotes say volumes about [...]

Football On My Mind…….

Hey guys, just a few things to discuss. First, I would like to congratulate the Arizona Cardinals and Pittsburgh Steelers on reaching Super Bowl 43. Much props to both teams. Honestly, I am pulling for the Cards on this one. On a side note as well, Imagine if Terrell Owens would of pulled that Boldin Act yesterday after they won. ESPN would of been all over that. On to the Boys……….. First I would LOVE [...]

Playing Not To Lose Instead Of Playing To WIN!!!

Yesterdays loss against the Steelers hurts. It hurts on so many levels. The Defense was outstanding. I have never been prouder than what the defense did yesterday. They dominated the whole game but the defense can’t do it all folks. They are not at that level yet. The Steelers did not impress me at all. Thats why it’s so hard to take this loss and I take it personal.  The loss yesterday felt worse to [...]

T.O. stands for Too Old?

All season long people have questioned and portrayed Terrell Owens as a cancer on this team. I have even read comments here on Star Struck where writers and commenters both stated that Terrell Owens was turning into the old T.O. again. Complaining, whinning and causing turmoil on the field and the locker room because he wasn’t getting the ball. A DMN ( Dallas Morning News ) writer as well questioned whether or not Terrell Owens [...]

Anyone there?

Heya Cowboy Fans out there! How is Everyone doing out there? Well if your anywhere near where I am, then your probably not doing very well. So it seems as if StarStruck has become a little speechless after yesterday’s decimation of our beloved Cowboys. I haven’t seen a butt whoopin that bad since the Boys whooped on the Bills in Super Bowl 27. Everything started off great. Marched right down the field, T.O. got a [...]

Is It Time To Hit The Panic Button?

Wow….I am with Joe D on this one. The 2008 Dallas Cowboys seem to be in a fiery tail spin after a loss to the Arizona Cardinals. Wade Phillips will say everything is fine, he sugar coats losses, and Tony Romo will simply say they were outplayed. The only thing that bothers me is that teams have been outplaying the Cowboys for the past 3 weeks now and there is no signs of impending improvment. Terrell [...]

2-0 Not Bad Cowboys….Not Bad

Hey Guys, Sorry for the long layoff first of all. Started a new job and been trying to finish up some more Cowboy Graphics I have been doing. I would just like to give you guys my perspective on how things have been materializing for the boys from Fredooch’s point of view for the first 2 games. First off, The offense looks great. Romo looks like he is in mid-season form and T.O. looks like [...]

Time To Piss Off The Californians

I know this next statement is going to make many people angry with me but it’s been bugging me for awhile now. The Dallas Cowboys Training Camp should always be held in Texas. Period. It’s true that the Dallas Cowboys are America’s Team. Just look at the Hard Knocks ratings. They were through the roof. It was one of the highest rated TV shows HBO has had in a while. Yet, what bothered me the most when [...]

Something Still Missing………..

The 2008 season is finally here…  However, it feels like something is missing… Flashes of Romo to Owens on a 45-yard post pattern is something that I cannot wait for, yet something is missing. Barber bulldozing the Giants defense for a 10-yard scamper, when it should of been a 2-yard loss is something to see, yet something is still missing. So what is missing? It’s the guy opposite Owens, someone that can instill fear into the hearts of opposing secondaries… that is [...]

Gearing up for 2008 "The Sunday Spot"

Well it’s almost that time of the year kiddies. Sundays and Dallas Cowboys Football. We are about a month away from serious Dallas Cowboys coverage and ramblings. I would like to thank Kelly for inviting back to 2008 for my usual "Sunday Spot" feature here on LoneStarStruck and everyone else associated with this website who reads, contributes and gives their two cents. I will also still be contributing some graphics to the site again as [...]

The Sunday Spot by Fredooch

Hey guys, whats up? I am going to go on a little rant here so please bear with me. First thing I want to talk about is the whole two sided argument of why taking Felix Jones at 22 and not Rashard Mendenhall is the better fit and why it isn’t. First, let me say that I would of taken Mendenhall without even blinking an eye. Many draft boards had this guy in the top [...]
