CHATTERBOX
As a member of several Cowboys Blogs and subscriber to every online news that has anything to do with The Cowboys, I have seen lots of Chatter this week. I thought we should open up a dialogue on all these things going on this week with you Starstruckers. It has been too quiet around here the last few days and I love stirring the pot anyway. (I am reserving my opinion on all of this because I [...]

Let's talk Chad Johnson
Talk of getting Chad Johnson (from Cincinnati) in Dallas is increasing by the hour. It’s all I heard about on the radio during my morning commute. I’m all for it. But should I be? Let’s hear what Lonestarstruck readers have to say. Talk to me! *** Added by Lone Star Struck: For those of you who aren’t familiar with Johnson here are some stats from his entry on wikipedia.com. Chad Johnson holds the following records in the Bengals [...]

MBIII ….what's he worth?
So I hear that The Cowboys have offered Marion Barber 30 million and he wants more. There’s been much discussion on local sports talk about this. Is Barber worth as much as someone like LT? I know all Cowboy fans love Barber, myself included. But does a RB within a proven 2 back system, that is most likely going to continue to be a 2 back system, expect to get paid as much as a [...]

An Evening with The Stars
Wow wow wow wow wow! What a night we had last night. My son and I were fortunate enough to have been invited to volunteer at the bowling night fund raiser for The Gift of Life Foundation. The Foundation was started by Everson Walls and Ron Springs to raise money and awareness for organ donation. We were advised to get there early so we could choose our job. Well we were the first ones and [...]

Rome Wasn't Built in a Day
Well if you’re anything like me, you’re still walking into walls and stumbling around like one of Jack Nicholson’s friends in One Flew Over the Cuckoo’s Nest, after that loss on Sunday. I gotta tell you though, I am more upset over football season ending than anything. Honestly, for me, it’s more of a feeling of “What the heck is it that I do when football season is over”, because I never can remember life [...]

She does so much for Cowboys fans and puts so many hours of work into this blog site and the graphics she creates. I am constantly in awe [...]

To all of you that enjoy what we offer here at Lonestarstruck.com, I just wanted to encourage you to comment on the blogs for the sake of keeping the writers encouraged. Kelly tells me we’re getting more hits everyday which means that you are reading the blogs. It would be so much appreciated if you would just let the writers know you like what they’re doing, by leaving a comment. It only takes a minute and [...]

Tis The Season to Be Jolly
I just wanted to share a few of my “Jolly” thoughts with all of you that are Starstruck like me. I am in the brightest of spirits and this I hope will give you reason to be as well. I love Christmas, but who doesn’t? If you don’t love Christmas then see a doctor immediately, because there is something wrong with you. Christmastime is a season, a month long feeling of happiness, family gatherings, food [...]

BE A REAL FAN!!!
I am currently commuting back and forth between Abilene and Dallas. Typically I’m only in Dallas on the weekends to spend time with my son. He’s 15 and a real rock star on his baseball team. Yet he’s more of a football fan. I really enjoy watching football with him. He’s of course a Cowboys fan. He’s also a really hard core Longhorns fan. He is so emotional about his teams that sometimes it’s frustrating for me. [...]
