Super Bowl XLV at Cowboys Stadium

On Tuesday morning the 32 football owners awarded North Texas the Super Bowl bid for 2011. The game will be played in the new Cowboys Stadium in Arlington that is still under construction.

North Texas beat out bids by Indianapolis and Arizona. Former Cowboys quarterback, Roger Staubach led the bid committee.

"This is a thrill of a lifetime," Staubach said. "We're thrilled to bring the Super Bowl to North Texas and this magnificent stadium. There's a lot of work to be done. But it will really get cooking here in the near future. We're going to work real hard to live up to the responsibilities that go along with this bid."

Congratulations North Texas! Lets just pray that the Cowboys are the ones playing in their home stadium for Super Bowl XLV!
