Don't Hang This Loss On Our Defense
When the Patriots rolled into town on Sunday, some likened it to the "Clash of the Titans," and on many levels it was. Two great teams, both with undefeated records, were going to do battle on an extreme level, and only one team would come out of it with their undefeated record intact. Unfortunately, it was the Patriots who prevailed as the Cowboys were left scratching their heads and wondering what went wrong.
A victory for the Cowboys was clearly in their grasp in the early going, but as the seconds and then minutes ticked away, the chasm between the Patriots and the Cowboys widened, and there was no catching the Pats on this day.
The Cowboys defense came ready to play, the offense on the other hand, did not. The Cowboys offense did what they've been doing all season long, and didn't show up until the second quarter of the game. For the first five games of the season, they were able to get away with their three-quarters style of play, but when you face a team as good as the Patriots, you need to play at full throttle for all four quarters.
Instead of wearing down the Patriots defense, our offense wore down our own defense. They failed to convert on third-down way too many times early in the game, and the Patriots dominated possession of the ball for most of the first half and kept the Dallas defense on the field far longer than they should have been. Of course there were other factors that contributed to the loss, like the number of penalties (12-98 Yards), and not being able to establish the run until it was too late, but when you allow the opposition to control the ball for almost 40 minutes, it's going to bite you in the butt.
The bottom line is that we lost and now we have to move on and focus on the Vikings. We can only hope that moving forward that the Cowboys show up ready to play... for all four quarters...
Go Cowboys!

Yeah, you are right. Our defense played hard but they got tired. Our offense needs to come in full force the moment they hit the field. Every game I've been saying, "Oh don't worry about the first quarter, they dont start their engines til the 2nd quarter." But maybe they need to rethink that.
So that's behind us, we learn, make adjustments and move forward!
Go Cowboys!!!
P.S. I really really miss Terry Glenn and Anthony Henry!!!

They really need to start Barber, every game!
Maybe he can share what he's eating for breakfast cuz he's a ^Maniac and I LOVE watching him play.
Minnesota is in big trouble!!

The Patriots are just a better team, Dallas made a good effert, they just don't have the secondary to keep up with that talent. It's nothing wrong with losing yo a great team. They have several hall of fame players on their team. Dallas is a young team that is getting better, that was Romo's 16 start, compared to Tom Brady's 3 super bowl rings. They are a afc team so u move on and focus on the division games after the bye. Because no matter how hyped that game was it means nothing toward the division. No big deal they are just a better team, put it behind u and focus on the vikings. And after that three straight division games two of which are on the road.
