The Most Important Thing
Hey Cowboy Fans! How ya doin' out there and HOW 'BOUT THOSE COWBOYS!?
What a game on Monday Night, huh? WOW!! I had to work Monday night. As soon as my shift was over, I rushed to the car to find the game on the radio. Thank goodness for my subscription to Sirius! As the details flew from space into the cabin of my car, I knew I only had a few minutes to get home before the 3rd Quarter started... and I knew we were behind.
I rushed toward the house while trying to catch up with the haps. Tires squealing and a side-ways skid into the garage, I made it just in time! (Do not try this at home!) I threw the door to the house open and began yelling at my husband, "What's up with my man!?" Without blinking, he began telling me what I missed and all about my man, Tony Romo.
"I just think he (Romo) had a bad day," Phillips said. "I will say this for him. At the end of the game he was still in there. That is what we preach. No matter what the stats are the most important thing is winning the game. That was the most important thing."
He's right, ya know? We all have bad days now and then. As much as we would like to believe that wearing the Cowboy Uniform somehow transforms a person into a Super Hero, it's just not true. They are people like you and me. Bad days just happen.
The only thing that could have made the situation worse is if the team had fallen apart. THEY DIDN'T! They held it together, worked together and made things happen! I'm so proud of The Cowboys for that reason!
Sunday, undefeated New England visits Texas Stadium to play undefeated Dallas. Head-to-Head match-ups show New England out rank the Cowboys... but not by much! Add home field advantage to the mix and you have a recipe for an awesome show!
At the end of the game, only one team will remain undefeated.
The question is: WHICH TEAM?
I believe I will NOT experience the same walk back to my car as Bill's fans did on Monday Night. I believe The Cowboys will remain the undefeated team at the end of the day. I also believe THE FANS in the stands make a difference!
I'M CALLING ON ALL COWBOY FANS TO ACTION! It's time to put on the war paint, break out the markers and poster board. It's time to act a fool when our D is on the field!
THIS IS NOT A DRILL PEOPLE!
I want to hear you LOUD AND PROUD!! I want my ears to ring for a week due to the fan volume! And most importantly, I WANT TO WIN!!

Great blog Shelby! You are right, we need to be proud that our team stuck it out til the end and WON the game. I see alot of people complaining about what went wrong, but the fact is we didn't give up and for that you have to give them credit.

GO COWBOYS, this is our home the pats are coming to, get loud get rowdy. I know i will be, my sis-n-law is a pats fan. we have been getting it on for the past couple weeks now. They can have the stat numbers but we will have the stadium numbers. Put it to um boys....
