Patrick Crayton Agrees To 4-Year Contract Extension
As we reported here on this site last week, Patrick Crayton was next in line for a contract extension. Today both sides agreed in principle on a new 4-year extension that will pay Crayton $14 million dollars and includes a $6 million dollar signing bonus.
Crayton has made it clear throughout the season that he had no intentions of playing for any other team besides the Cowboys. When rumors began to surface that he might join Bill Parcells in Miami at the end of the season, he immediately refuted the rumors and said "This is the only place I want to be."
Patrick Crayton has done a fine job filling in for an injured Terry Glenn and has 48 catches for 689 yards and seven touchdowns this season.
