Back To Square One

I know everyone probably has a bad taste in their mouth from the loss to the Redskins and the lackluster performance the Cowboys showed on Sunday. Are they really in trouble? Are they really incapable of playing the kind of football we have gotten used to this season? I think not!!

The Redskin are playing with emotion with the loss of their teammate, Sean T (RIP). They were also fighting for their lives as a loss would have ended their season. On the other hand our boys were playing just the opposite. No inspiration, no passion, and no love for the game. You play to win the game!

I do believe all the talk of the game ”not meaning anything” did slip into the back of their heads. As much as they didn’t think it would, its only human nature. The Redskins came, and hit them in the mouth and they didn’t seem to care. Lack of focus...

Now, on the bright side. That was one game, a horrible one for Cowboy fans, but just one game.  The Cowboys are 13-3. The regular season is over, the playoffs are upon us and our boys are in the dance. At the end of the day that is what u hope for all season.  Twelve teams have the same opportunity to hold the Lombardi Trophy at seasons end. It doesn’t matter if u are 9-7, 13-3, or even 16-0. Some are favored and some are not, but everyone’s record today is 0 and 0. Just a reminder… every NFC playoff team ended the regular season with a loss except the Skins. They needed that win just to make it.

The Cowboys have 2 weeks to get healthy and refocus to play with passion. They are still the team to beat in the NFC...  Go Cowboys!

The Super Bowl Goes Thur Dallas!! Time To Shine Cowboys!!

Thats very refreshing. Not to disagree or rebute your words of wisdom, but the Cowboys productivity on offense has been in a decline for the past 4 weeks. Abandoning the run and not converting much on the pass. Romo has been throwing poorly since Thanksgiving. His consistancy has dissappeared the last 4 games, thus leaving our defense on the field an unacceptable amount of time by the standards set by the previous 12 games, an such a winning record on the road. How do you size it all up just by judging the performance in the last game against the Redskins? I think his performance is the one that needs attention, not to mention the performance of Jason Garrett's play calling. This evidence shows that there is some real concern in at least these two areas. Are they in real trouble? I say no, but is there a problem that needs to be addressed going in to "The Dance?" I say yes, and it should be corrected by game time or they will be watching the rest of "The Dance", from home.
