A "Hard" Look at the Cowboys Could Lead to a Triumphant Season

HBO is betting that the Dallas Cowboys will be the team to beat this season, so much so that their cameras will be in training camp to catch all the action as the teams readies itself for the upcoming season.

America will get a glimpse of what it's like to be a part of Cowboys training camp when HBO debuts a new season of "Hard Knocks" The popular series is a behind-the-scenes look at the trials, tribulations, and triumphs of a team preparing for the upcoming season. It will be the second time that the Cowboys will be spotlighted in the series, the first time being in 2002.

I think it’s going to be great to get in close with stars like Terrell Owens, Tony Romo and Jason Witten and just hear their takes on what’s expected to be another exciting season. Most of all I am looking forward to watching how all of the position and roster battles unfold. We will almost be able to get a sense of what these guys go through to make the team and experience their jubilation.

The show will be loaded with plenty of on-the-field footage and locker room interviews that will capture any and all the drama as it unfolds, and tackle all of the issues that the team faces.

By the way, for any of you that enjoys betting on football or just like checking the NFL Odds, what a great way to get some inside information on your favorite team!

Make sure you all tune in to HBO for what’s bound to be another great season of “Hard Knocks”.

I'm looking forward to it. HBO made a good decision. Everyone was going to have their eyes on Dallas this year anyway. Their ratings will be through the roof. Good 'Ole Jerry loves the spotlight doesn't he? I bet he's just tickled over this.

OOOOO
My

Are you kidding me??!!

I LOVE IT! It's great for all of us COWBOYS fans that cant make it to Oxnard to see them. "Hard knocks" Made a great choice! Just to see Jerry talkin about it last night on NFL Network you could see the joy in his face. Thanks HBO!

Don’t mean to sound like a prune but I disagree, the last time HBO was at the Dallas Cowboys’ training camp the season was a disastrous one for the team who finished at 5 - 11. Too much distraction from the players who knew they were on camera and hammed it up instead of paying attention to the task at hand, same for the coaches who toned it down and openly joked around with the players instead of putting a boot up their rear ends. Jerry Jones has been known to make some stupid moves and for his sake I’m praying the Cowboys win the Super Bowl otherwise this one’s on you pardner!

I am concerned that the show will be a big distraction and could get a Terrell Owens or Pacman Jones upset and cause locker room dissension. I hope I am wrong!

I'm excited about it.

I don't think it will be the distraction y'all are worried about.

Guys like T.O. are professionals, and know how to deal w/this type of media.

I think the opposite. I think it could help the team. The spotlight could have guys competing even harder, knowing they are being watched by millions.

It's not fair to compare the 2002 team that finished 5-11 to this year's team. It's not even close.

This IS the Cowboys year.
