Fans, Tailgaters & Ticket Holders
Howdy Ya'll! I hope this message finds you all well and getting excited about the season. There's a lot going on. Not just on the practice fields but with fans as well! We have every reason to celebrate! Our Boys look good. This is the last season at Texas Stadium. If you follow this site at all, you know countless reasons to let the fun begin!
The future is SO BRIGHT - I gotta hear shades!
I am hearing rumors of fans making arrangements to visit from out of town, plans for tailgate parties and such! Thanks for keeping me in the loop! I love me some COWBOYS and I LOVE COWBOY FANS! The 2009 changes in location will also cause some changes in parking and tailgating THIS SEASON. According to The Tailgating Policy, these activities will be in a designated areas given out on a first come - first serve basis. You may occupy as many spaces as you have passes. It looks like they plan to get real serious about this policy.
We got lucky several years ago: found season tickets! You would have thought I won the lottery! Like all Season Ticket Holders, I find myself on the eve of a deadline to commit to tickets in 2009 and for the next 30 yrs. Next season's move to Arlington weighs heavy on our hearts, minds and wallets. I'm a fan (fanatic?) and all -this is no doubt, right? My heart says, "Jump Jump!" My commitment-phobic side says, "Hold on now... let's think about this!" If you have your 2009 tickets, CONGRATS! Please share the secret that helped you come to that decision! Current Season Ticket-holders have until Friday. We are still thinking about it with sweaty palms and a nervous twitch.
On a happier note, our 2008 season tickets arrived. They are COOL! The ticket for the last game is twice the normal size. The ticket and the parking pass says "Farewell". It is real neat and it makes me wonder what they have planned, ya know? I am excited to be a part of the changes we have ahead of us. Which, of course, brings my thoughts back to the 2009 season. *sigh* What to do - what to do?
As the season gets closer and closer, I'm getting more and more excited. Can you feel the star-shaped butterflies in your belly? Fans will be about to burst when we finally have a home game! With our schedule, it is sure to start off action packed. As fans, we need to be LOUD for the DEFENSE and as quiet as mice for the offense. Spread the word! Our Fan Game Plan is that simple!
As T.O. would say, "Get Your Popcorn Ready!" We are in for a fun ride, fans!

I definitely have my popcorn ready! I dont think I've been this excited about a football season in my life. Its going to be the greatest one yet, I can feel it!

Gp for it girl! You are so lucky to have the chance to be a season ticket holder! Enjoy life I can't see you enjoying anything more than a cowboy game. It would be money well spent.

Shelby, I say buy the tickets. I know it's a lot of money.
We are on the waiting list and have been contacted to get ready. My stomach is aching when I think about the amount we are about to spent. But we only live once and should enjoy life as much as we can, because you never know when it's your time to go. As a Military Spouse you learn that quickly these days.
