NFC East Report - Keep Your Enemies Closer
New York Giants - pronunciation (midg-ETS)
Jeremy Shockey got his ass and his big mouth traded to New Orleans for a bag of chips and a some Cajun-style shrimp. For years, Cowboys fans have known that Shockey was all talk and no action, and finally the Giants figured that out. Good riddance from the NFC east!
Kevin Boss will now take over as the Giants' starting tight end and drop the word backup from his designation. I guess he showed Shockey who was Boss!
Wide Receiver, Plaxico Burress is still trying to figure out if he will hold out of training camp which starts this week. Take your time Plaxico, no rush...
Philadelphia Eagles - pronunciation (SEE-gulls)
QB Donovan McNabb says that his shoulder is fine, but does anybody really care anymore? I mean this guy spends more time in an emergency room than those broken down coffee machines that never seem to work, and when they do the coffee's sucks and you end up burning your tongue. Blah... Isn't it ironic how right Terrell Owens was about this guy?
RB Brain Westbrook still doesn't know if he'll hold out at training camp either. He's a punk ass, and you can bet the farm that he'll be there to collect his first check on Friday.
The Eagles have practically finished signing all of their draft picks. A lot of good they will do them.
Washington Redskins - pronunciation (ded-skinz)
The Redskins acquired DE Jason Taylor from the Dolphins in exchange for a second-round draft choice in 2009 and a sixth-round pick in 2010. I'd be quaking in my Cowboys boots if this happened in 2002, but come on everybody, Taylor is 34 years old and it's been six years since his huge 19 sack season. Next subject...
When you consider the fact that this past week, the Redskins lost defensive ends Phillip Daniels (torn ACL) and Alex Buzbee (ruptured Achilles) for the rest of the season, the Taylor acquisition is more like running in place than moving forward.
See you again after training camp all you 'Boys fans!

Isn't it Ironic...LOL
You're sooo right Joe.
I had Owens 'back... back in the day.
My other life(wink*)
Not sooo sure about Jason Taylor tho.
Being in FL. and forced to watch soooo
many Miami games, I would have been real
happy to see Taylor as a Cowboy.
But none of that matters...
What matters is:
I got my popcorn ready!!!
*Cowboys baby*

Thanks for the update Joe! Jason Taylor still worries me a little. I liked him why the deadskins? UGH Can you keep us updated on how former cowboys are doing with Miami?
