The Terrell Owens Bashing Has Already Begun
Here is another exclusive Lone Star Struck video. This one comes courtesy of ESPN's First take where the topic of discussion is a recent coaches poll.
The coaches were asked which current Pro Bowl caliber player would you NOT want on your playoff team? The winner... or loser... is Terrell Owens. Ugh... One of the reasons they cite is his playoff record of 1-6. Check it out...
If you didn't recognize him, the man on the right is none other than "Cowboys #1 Hater" Skip Bayless.
According to his profile on wikipedia.com:
Bayless also has focused his criticism on the Dallas Cowboys, now that they have his most frequent target, Terrell Owens, whom he calls "Team Obliterator." He also has blasted quarterback Tony Romo ("Tony Romeo") for participating in a highly-publicized romance with Jessica Simpson before proving himself as an NFL quarterback.

I look forward to watching Bayless eat his words as we SKIP around town at the end of the season! At that point, I will personally email him to find out how crow tastes and if he prefers it in a pie or fresh from the sky?

If you think that Skip Bayless is a "COWBOYS HATER" then you obviously DON'T watch him very often! Yes, he does not like TO and up until 2 years ago, his judgment on TO was and would be SPOT-ON. TO has made so much progress in getting along with his coaches, owner, and most importantly, teanmates (especially the QB). He NEVER hates on the COWBOYS but just because he doesn't like the attitudes of one and the social habits of another (TONY ROMO). I am a LIFELONG FAN and know this to be my opinion!

Oh, and PLEASE don't use WIKIPEDIA as a source! That site is so easily changed and could've been posted completely 5 minutes before you saw and deleted 5 minutes after! Yes, BAYLESS should be able to grow up a litle as TO has and see that the man has changed as he has gotten older. That is a problem. He is blaming TO for things he did on other teams and now MANY years ago!

skip used to write for the paper here in dallas and there is a reason he got ran off. and everytime he opens his mouth you see it. what drives me crazier then anything are his skip-shots.

I don't know how you (Shawn) can say that Skip Say-Less is not a Cowboys Hater? I DO watch him, all the time, and he ALWAYS hates on the Cowboys.
Even now, when there is absolutely nothing bad to say about Terrell, they are still looking for something to bash him about. Why don't they talk about the kid's football camp that T.O. is running this week? Or his charity work?
When I do watch the commentary, and Skip is talking, I MUTE HIM!!!! There is nothing of value coming out of his big mouth.
J.A. Adande is the only fair commentator sitting at that desk.
And it's O.K., let them hate, our Dallas Cowboys will enjoy success this year, and nothing that idiot Bayless says will matter.

Skip Bayless doesnt know shit about football. Hes just pissed because TO is the best receiver and teammate in the league and that the Cowboys are goin to the Bowl this year. And TO won over Chad Johnson?

Skip Bayless is a jackass, he couldn't 1/3 of T.O or anyone on the Cowboys could do! He just klikes to sit there & run his mouth. No matter what T.O & the Cowboys do he's gonna hate! So keep on hatin' Skip b/c it only makes us better....

For grins and giggles: Born John Edward Bayless, he legally changed his name to Skip a nickname given to him by his father. At one point in his career Skip was a sportswriter for the Dallas Morning News and the Dallas Times Herald, it was during this time that he was voted Texas sportswriter of the year three times. To his credit, he has written three books on the Dallas Cowboys, “God Coach” (the rise and fall of Tom Landry and the Cowboys), “The Boys” (the relationship between Jerry and Jimmy), and “Hell Bent: The Crazy Truth About The Win or Else Dallas Cowboys, (the Barry Switzer era). He was also a radio announcer for KLIF in Dallas and later started the city's first sports talk radio station, KTCK Sports Radio 1310 better known as "the Ticket" so I can’t really say that he’s a hater, that he doesn’t like certain players on team would be a better answer.
I’m not defending him, just trying to put things into perspective because we need to understand that he's a commentator whose job is to cause controversy among fans, otherwise would we tune in? And then when we don’t like what we’re hearing we immediately label him a haters! Why? Isn't he voicing his opinion as we are on this forum? Works both ways guys and gals! Go Cowboys…
