So many questions and concerns when it comes to the Cowboys offensive line
One of the biggest concerns after the 2011 season was the state of the Cowboys offensive line. On many occasions last season it seemed as though opposing teams were in the Cowboys backfield more than the Cowboys were. Without a solid offensive line the running game suffers which then leads to problems with the passing game. Even with all the moves the Cowboys have made with the line this off season there are still so [...]

Mike Jenkins needs to be a big part of the Cowboys secondary in 2012
When the Cowboys signed free agent cornerback Brandon Carr, many spoke about how improved the secondary would be as long as Mike Jenkins came back healthy in 2012. Now with the Cowboys trading up eight spots in the first round of the draft to select Morris Claiborne, some believe that Jenkins is the odd man out. There are even reports that the Cowboys have been looking to trade Jenkins in hopes of getting something for [...]

Dallas Cowboys Top 5 Offensive Players
When I was asked to write this, I was a bit concerned. Dallas has tons of offensive weapons and guys who would be deserving of this list. However, my list got a little easier to produce, when I found out Laurent Robinson is now a Jacksonville Jaguar. He would have thrown a wrench in the entire situation. It still isn’t easy, but here are my top five players on the Cowboys’ offense. Let’s take a [...]

Ratliff Staying Put At Nose Tackle
According to a report on ESPN, Cowboys defensive line coach Brian Baker revealed that the team has no plans on moving Jay Ratliff from nose tackle to end. Ratliff wore down as the season progressed because of a rib muscle strain. Baker said Ratliff played the fewest snaps percentage wise in 2011 since he’s been a starter. “Jay got hurt,” Baker said. “Jay was busted up that’s why we had to get him through it.” Baker said [...]

Can The Dallas Cowboys Win the Super Bowl?

Let’s take an in depth look at “America’s Team”, how do their NFL odds look like and what are their chances in general. Tony Romo -Is he good or isn’t he? I Will Always Be A Bradie James Fan
I’ve been very fond of Bradie James for years now. You would often find me screaming, “I love me some Bradie” or simply “BRADDDIIIEEEE” during games and game chats. Learning that the Cowboys issued a newly signed player the #56, really hurts. Bradie hasn’t even been released or moved on to another team yet. I understand the business, but I dont have to like it. Bradie is a wonderful person and a great veteran leader, [...]

Cowboys Devoid Of Leadership
Leadership continues to be at the forefront of Dallas Cowboys headlines since the comments made by defensive end Jason Hatcher on ESPN a couple of weeks ago. During his appearance he was asked to name the leaders on his team. His response made many Cowboys officials queasy to say the least: “Dude. I gotta be honest with you: That’s a good question. That’s a good question. I really don’t know. It’s just another thing we really need … like [...]

Anthony Spencer Influenced Mock Off-Season(s)
Dallas will go one of three ways with Anthony Spencer: 1. Let him walk via free agency 2. Work out a long term deal 3. Franchise him In this mock, I’m picking the fan’s least favorite scenario and franchising him, counting $8.8 mil. against the 2012 CAP. I would NEVER do this, but Jerry is unpredictable, so I’m just mocking a “what-if”…sorry folks… Free Agency: Anthony Spencer OLB $8.8 mil. (franchised…ouch…I know…) Laurent Robinson [...]

One Can Always Hope…
Giants win the Super Bowl… Totally sucks… It could have been us… It should have been us! Anyway, time to move forward…. Saw this on ESPN and thought I’d share it here: SportsCenter posed the question: “Which team that missed the playoffs has the best chance of winning Super Bowl XLVII?” Analyst Tim Hasselbeck’s answer: The Dallas Cowboys. “Lot of talent on that football team,” Hasselbeck said. “Miles Austin not injured. Defense, another year with [...]

Last Mock Off Season Of January 2012
I have been busy with my off season addiction of researching free agents and draft hopefuls again. Right now I am knee deep in mock drafts and have completed a few complete off seasons as well. I am also currently finishing up my defensive analysis, which I will post in a couple days before leaving for Florida to work for a bit. Here is the last off season mock I made and posted on my [...]
