Crazy games aren’t rare for Cowboys/Redskins matchups, but this game’s score seemed more like a baseball game than football.
One of the saddest box scores in the history of football..
Luckily Tony Romo scrambled and found Patrick Crayton in the endzone with 2:41 on the clock.
This was an ugly loss. Thank heaven the defense was strong, holding the Redskins to only two field goals, because with the offense not scoring, this game could have gotten out of control.
The ground game was alive and well accumulating 153 yards, while the passing game was held to 152 yards. Even though Tony Romo won the game, he had horrible day statistically. Romo went 15 for 27, 158 yards, one touchdown and one interception. But in the end all that mattered is that he fought hard in that last drive and put the Cowboys on top.
The Cowboys go on to 7-3 and stay alone in first place in the NFC East.
There is so much more to talk about, come back tomorrow for the full recap.
