The Cowboys will take their 1-4 record and look for their second win against the Giants in week seven. The expectations have fallen from Super Bowl favs to early draft pick favs. However, all hope should not be lost. Fans are frustrated and demand a turnaround, all we can do is hope that the team wants the same thing. Whether you’ve lost hope of not, come Monday night, Cowboys fans will be expecting a Texas size ass-kickin’ in Cowboys Stadium against their bitter rivals!

Gameday Graphic: Cowboys at Vikings

I’d say this is a must win, but honestly every game is in a 16 game season. Both teams have several important names on the injury report this week, with Brett Favre being at the top for the Vikings and Dez Bryant for the Cowboys. We all know that Tony Romo has plenty other receiving weapons to target however a broken down Brett Favre could harm the Vikings offense tremendously. And that’s just what the Cowboys need. DeMarcus Ware could have a heyday in Minnesota today.

The Cowboys matchup against the Vikings this afternoon. Television coverage begins at 3:15 Central time on FOX.

Some Days It Ain’t Easy Being a Cowboys Fan

Believe me I’m just as angry as you are. Being passionate, die-hard fans we have that right.

As I read comments and statuses around the web on Facebook and Twitter some people are threatening to jump ship. I just want to remind you all that we are Cowboys fans. We need to stand by this team through everything. They played horrible, they have so many issues its hard to list them all, but at the end of the day this is our team. Respect that.

Its going to be a long week and we are going to hear a lot of negativity. Be prepared. Keep wearing the star, and wear it proud.

Cowboys Defensive Coalition

Okay, so I’ve been a little absent this week. Some of it is for personal reasons, and some is because… well… its hard to get motivation after a loss. Either way I should know better. I should know that one loss in the first game of the season doesn’t mean shut everything down. It doesn’t mean we don’t still have a excellent chance to go all the way and it doesn’t mean we don’t have a great team.

At the beginning of the week someone tried to tell me that the defense didn’t look very hot. I stopped him mid-sentence… Are you freaking kidding me? That defense looked great. They kept us in the game until the very end. While holding Washington to only  two field goals isn’t a feat of genius it still is pretty damn good in a rivalry game such as Cowboys at Redskins.

Either way, I felt that a few underrated defensive stars really deserved some love. Due to my absence this week, I’m playing catch up and releasing five graphics for Cowboy fans to enjoy.

Let’s hear it for: Keith Brooking, Bradie James, Anthony Spencer, Mike Jenkins and Marcus Spears!

It’s that time again. Offseason seemed like it would never end but alas, its officially kickoff time once again! I hope you are wearing your favorite Cowboys gear and planning your football feast. Tonight the Cowboys will look to seek and destroy the Redskins in a division rivalry game for the entire nation to witness.

Television coverage begins this evening at 7:00 p.m. Central time on CBS. The all new Lone Star Struck game chat will be open all day and we invite all fans to join us as we root for the Boys and share our game thoughts.

The Future is Bright with Miles and Dez

In honor of Miles Austin’s new contract extension I’d just like to say how freaking awesome it is to know that we have Austin and Dez Bryant locked up for at least the next five years!

Cowboys signed Miles Austin to a six-year extension. Per ESPN’s Adam Schefter, the total package is worth $57 million.

Dez Bryant received a five-year, $11.8 million contract  that includes $8.5 million in guarantees.

HOW BOUT THEM COWBOY WIDE RECEIVERS!

There’s No Place Like Home

The most wonderful place on Earth… Cowboys Stadium!

Hopefully our ‘Boys can make some great memories at  home this year and who knows they could be not only hosting the Super Bowl in Arlington but… dare I say it?

Nah, we don’t wanna jinx it. Here’s to a winning football season!
