Who Would Leave You Starstruck?

How many Dallas Cowboy fans have met a player and was so in awe that you where Starstruck?

My granddaughter asked me if I had ever met a player and if I passed out. Well, I didn’t pass out, but close to it when my parents surprised me by being taken back stage when Danny White was singing in Tulsa.

I couldn’t speak.

I have had the pleasure of meeting Daryl Johnston and I talked to him about the picture I brought to sign of his first touchdown.

Another time, Ken Norton Jr. asked me about my Zuba pants when he was signing my football card, and Nate Newton was a sweetheart when he signed a picture for me.

That made me wonder, what player would actually leave me Starstruck now?

I would have to say it probably would be Emmitt Smith, Tony Romo and DeMarcus Ware. I don’t think I would be speechless, but I sure would be shaking in their presence.

What we want to know is which current or past player would leave you Starstruck?

Tell us your Starstruck stories.

I know I am not the only fan that has had that experience, so please share your own experiences with us. I can’t wait to hear your stories.

Merry Christmas Starstruck

Hello Cowboys fans and Lonestarstruck lovers!

I wanted to take this opportunity to wish a very Merry Christmas to Kelly and her family. Kelly (Starstruck) is an amazing lady with talent like I’ve never seen. Her passion for The Dallas Cowboys shows in every thing she creates. She does so much for Cowboys fans and puts so many hours of work into this blog site and the graphics she creates. I am constantly in awe of Kelly.

We’ve been so fortunate lately to begin to really acquire some good writing on here. It’s a terrific group of people. I am so pleased for Kelly’s sake that this site is becoming so successful and attracting such awesome people. It’s Kelly’s standard of excellence that has set the bar and is bringing these great people her way.

I met Kelly on myspace just a little less than 2 years ago and I have grown to know her and love her as a very very close friend. I can’t express my affection for her in words. We have a deep love for our boys (we each have an only child) and we have a ridiculous love for The Dallas Cowboys. In having that in common, we had a foundation to build a beautiful friendship and mutual respect for each other. I feel incredibly blessed to be closing out 2007 with Kelly as a daily part of my life.

I know you all appreciate her as much as I do so if you would just shout out in the comments here and let her know, it will mean the world to her.

I can’t wait to see what you’re going to come up with next. It just keeps getting better all the time.

Dallas Cowboys Weekly Poll Results

Here are the results of last weeks StarStruck Cowboys Poll which asked the question…

Which Of These Players Will Emerge With A Breakout Year This Season?

It looks like Cowboys fans are expecting a big year from wide receiver, Patrick Crayton this season. Patrick grabbed 43% of all the votes, with Linebacker Bobby Carpenter coming in a distant second with 28% of the votes. Personally I think both will have solid seasons this year, but my choice is Bobby Carpenter to really emerge and make his presence felt this season.

This week we will focus on the defensive side of the ball and ask…

Who Will Be The Cowboys Defensive MVP This Season?

1. Marcus Spears

2. DeMarcus Ware

3. Terence Newman

4. Roy Williams

Tell us who you think will lead the defense this season for our Cowboys.

Enjoy the game on Thursday night!

Anyone Else Having Cowboy Withdrawals?

Can you believe it’s been over two months since the season ended? I can’t believe how quickly the off-season seems to be going. I guess we have Jerry Jones to thank for that. He really has made the off-season so much more interesting for us with the way he took his time searching for the best man for the job as our head coach, and all the off-season signings weren’t so bad either.
I am so glad that Julius Jones and Marion Barber will be together again in our backfield for the 2007 season! Well, maybe not at the same time, but who cares, it’s a lethal 1-2 punch!
I wonder if the media will finally stop obsessing over Terrell Owens once the pre season starts? I figure now that he has a season under his belt in Dallas that he won’t be such a hot topic anymore. Of course it’s also dependent on T.O. behaving himself, but come on, he’s really putting forth a great effort lately at being team oriented.
StarStruck is looking for a couple of writers who might be interested submitting a weekly column. If interested, please contact us for more details.
That’s all for now… GO COWBOYS!
