Wide receiver Terry Glenn will be out for at least 2 weeks including the first 2007 preseason game due to a tiny cyst on the back of his right kneecap. Glenn left practice on Sunday with knee pain, and an MRI on Monday came back negative. However, on Tuesday he had successful arthroscopic surgery on his right knee. Jerry Jones was sure that the 12 year veteran will be back before the regular season begins.
Terrell Owens also sat out of today’s practice when the coach’s decided to give him the day off to rest his legs. Owens still came to practice and gave a few of the younger players some tips and then watched his team in action.
With the two veteran starters out today, Sam Hurd, Patrick Crayton and even Miles Austin got alot of workout time with the first string during Tuesday’s practice. Head coach Wade Phillips and staff have been very impressed by the young receivers so far in Training Camp.
